Botox® is probably the most well-known neurotoxin brand on the market. Botox® is an injectable muscle relaxant designed to temporarily freeze certain muscles in the face that cause wrinkles to form over time. This temporary freezing effect results in a more youthful appearance.

It varies from patient to patient, but most patients can enjoy optimal results for at least 3-4 months.

You will see the full results from your Botox® treatment in about 2 weeks, but notice a positive change within 72 hours.

Botox® can treat many areas and skin concerns, including:

• Crow’s feet

• Forehead creases

• Facial wrinkles & fine lines

• Jawline (to slim/feminize)

• Palms, armpits, and feet (for hyperhidrosis)

Keep your follow-up appointment with your injector. Use ice to ease any bruising or swelling.

Do your best to avoid:

• Exercise and laying on your face for 24 hours

• Rubbing or massaging the treated area

• Applying make-up for at least one hour.
